GS1 Digital Link 2D barcodes, which are QR codes, are designed to be part of new digital standards for data and information that can link to mobile apps and smart devices and be read by a consumer or computer.
One code can deliver contextual information meaning that consumer, retailers, distributors and logistical partners all scan the same QR code, but are delivered different, targeted sets of tools and information.
