DAM

A DAM stores and serves the media that goes with a product: hero images, lifestyle shots, packaging renders, manuals, regulatory PDFs. Combined with a PIM it forms the merchandising stack.

For connected-product work, the DAM is where manuals and care guides typically live as PDFs. The job is to keep that source-of-truth in the DAM but also publish a markdown shadow that AI assistants can actually read and cite.
